Open Call for Curated Group Exhibition

In addition to the Open Call Exhibition, members review submissions from the Open Call throughout the year in consideration of future curatorial projects.

Submission Details:

• All artists over 18, working in any medium, are eligible to apply

• Artists living outside of Philadelphia are welcome to apply but will be responsible for shipping costs

Submission Guidelines:

• Submission fee is $25 for up to five images and is non-refundable; if this poses a hardship, please contact philadelphia@tigerstrikesasteroid.com for a sliding-scale waiver. Before requesting a waiver, please consider that application fees go directly to support our organizational costs.

• Artists who wish to apply as a group (artworks created by individual artists but shown together) should submit separate applications, with a note in their artist statements. Each artist will also be considered independently unless they specify otherwise in their application.

• Artists who work as a collaborative team (all artworks created together without individual credits) may apply under a single application.

• All artwork submitted must be ready to hang or install.

• All submissions must be received by 11:59pm on January 5

Important Dates:

• Submission deadline: 11:59 pm on January 5, 2026

• Notifications in first week of January

• Work must be received by January 26

• Artist Reception: Thursday, February 12, 6 - 9 pm

• Exhibition dates: January 31 - March 14, 2026
